Rules

ASA Rules Apply with the following exceptions. Check-in prior to first game. Each team will be given 3 scorecards. A team member must return a completed scorecard after each game.

Mercy rule – 8 runs after 5 innings. NO OTHER MERCY RULES APPLY.

Team listed first will be in first base dugout. Team on top of bracket will be at first base. IF A TEAM IS ALREADY OCCUPYING THE DUGOUT THEY WILL REMAIN. Home team determined by coin toss. Home team will supply official scorekeeper. CLEAN UP DUGOUT AFTER EACH GAME.

Protests NONE the decision of the field umpire/s will be final

All POOL GAMES will be 1:30 no new inning – 1:40 drop dead.

Pool games may end in a tie. NOTE: If the visiting team takes a lead and the home team does not finish their last inning the score will revert to the last completed inning.

Single elimination games will be no new inning after 1:30 and must be played to a conclusion. International tie-breaker will begin at the expiration of time or after 7 innings, whichever occurs first.

It will be YOUR responsibility to check on your FIRST elimination game time. THE COMPLETED BRACKETS WILL BE POSTED ON THE SO CALS FINEST WEBSITE SATURDAY NIGHT AFTER THE COMPLETION OF POOL PLAY.

The tournament director/s will conduct the coin toss if teams are not available.
